Everyday Boston is a grassroots, community building organization that focuses on helping citizens of Boston engage in storytelling through interviews, discourse, and research.

In particular, Everyday Boston has a program for teenaged youth called “Story of Our Streets”, which gives them the opportunity to learn about the neighborhoods they live in from a historical lens. It gives youth the opportunity to track the experiences of their neighbors and collect data in order to tell the story of the streets they are from.

I collaborated with Everyday Boston founder Cara Solomon to capture and document the end of year ceremony for the Story of Our Streets program. The video below was shot and edited by myself. I tried my best to let the youth narrate their journey and that’s exactly what they did, forever proving that the growing mind is always resilient and powerful.
